## What it looks like {#mockup}

To make this concrete, I asked the agents to build a mock-up: Kitewing Websites, a made-up studio selling exactly this offer, and three made-up client sites in three industries, a potter's catalogue, a community garden and a local plumber with a guides library. Each is a vault app, a site in an encrypted folder. The tour is in [inside Kitewing Websites](https://newsroom.sgit.ai/articles/inside-kitewing-websites.html).

## What it looks like: open it and try it {#mockup}

To make this concrete, I asked the agents to build it. Not a description: a working mock-up of the whole business. Kitewing Websites is a made-up studio whose own site sells exactly this offer, and next to it are three made-up client sites, in three industries, each with its own design. All four are real, finished sites you can click through, and each is an encrypted sgit vault you can open.

[figure kw-sites.webp] What is on the other side: Kitewing Websites, the made-up studio's own site, "a website you own, and can talk to"; Tidewrack Studio Pottery, a catalogue of 28 pieces in clay and sea-grey; Fennick Lane Community Garden, with events, a rota and growing guides, in leaf green and sunflower yellow; and Quillon Heat & Plumbing, a local trade with a map and 19 household guides, in navy and safety orange. All made up, for a demonstration. | collage

• **[Kitewing Websites](https://newsroom.sgit.ai/demos/vaults/kitewing-websites/vault-app/index.html)**, the studio: the offer in five steps, the one-off prices, why there is no monthly fee, and the three examples. Its vault holds the three examples inside it. [Open the vault](https://dev.vault.sgraph.ai/#sgit_public_read_59d20551766612f10442bf3c39c994a572a6967ebb7e4e289033b29f3db443b8%3Aixrnfp9r).

• **[Tidewrack Studio Pottery](https://newsroom.sgit.ai/demos/vaults/kitewing-websites/vault-app/examples/tidewrack-pottery/index.html)**, a catalogue: 28 pieces, each drawn in its glaze, filtered by kind and glaze, with an enquiry note instead of a checkout. • **[Fennick Lane Community Garden](https://newsroom.sgit.ai/demos/vaults/kitewing-websites/vault-app/examples/fennick-lane-garden/index.html)**, a community group: plots and the waiting list, a season of 15 events, a volunteer rota and 14 growing guides. • **[Quillon Heat & Plumbing](https://newsroom.sgit.ai/demos/vaults/kitewing-websites/vault-app/examples/quillon-heating/index.html)**, a local trade: eight services, a map of the villages it covers, what to do in an emergency, and 19 household guides. Each one is a single HTML file with its words in a JSON file beside it, so its owner changes it by asking: "add a mug in the celadon glaze", "move the June work day". [Inside Kitewing Websites](https://newsroom.sgit.ai/articles/inside-kitewing-websites.html) is the tour: how each site is made, and how the vaults work.
