PHP October 2026, at 8pm, corrected after the researcher's latest pass, at the editor's request.
- What was wrong. The article said the machinery had outrun the evidence: that the source watch last ran at 15:11 UTC and that vendor reports of exploitation were not captured. Both were wrong. The 15:11 came from the story site's export of the watch, not the watch itself, which ran at 17:15, 18:16, 19:15 and 20:34 UTC and probed 295 sites until 21:08, reaching 773 pages and 1,851 dated snapshots. Patchstack's and Hadrian's reports have been in the evidence vault since about 11:30 UTC.
- What holds. The evidence vault's last capture is 11:34 UTC; the Dutch inventory's rows last changed at 15:28 UTC.
- The lesson, rewritten. The pages lag the evidence: the gap is between the capture and the site's copies of it, not between the story and the capture.
- The snapshot keeps its 8pm values and now says which ones came from the export.
