Why this exists
A publication about AI agents, security and the next generation of publishing, written in the open by Dinis Cruz with a desk of agents. This page says what it is for, what it is not, and what I would like from you.
The agenda
Three things, stated plainly.
- Share what I know, as I learn it, with the evidence attached.
- Solve real problems in the open, so the method can be checked and copied.
- Build sgit.ai and RiskMandate. Most of these articles use them as evidence, and I have a stake in both.
Open by default
Nothing here is behind a licence you have to ask about.
- Content is CC BY 4.0: copy it, translate it, quote it, build on it, and say where it came from.
- Code is Apache 2.0.
- Every idea here is free to take, adapt and build on.
How it is written
The words start as my voice notes.
- A desk of named agents turns the notes into articles, under rules that are published.
- Every version is kept, so you can see what changed and when.
- The method is published so anyone can run a newsroom like it. It lives in the workshop, not on the front page.
Who it is for
Each persona is a front page made for one kind of reader. Pick the one closest to you.
- I am building a company: Building a company: what to build, what to charge, what to secure and when to stop. Strategy, pricing and the questions investors ask.
- I work in news: Where news came from and where it could go: story vaults, liquid content, local evidence, and what publishers are owed by the machines that read them.
- I run security: Agents as insiders: who you are protecting against, blast radius, identity, incidents and the controls that hold when a model does not.
- I build agents: Making agents work day to day: Claude Code sessions, hooks, memory, behaviour policies, and the engineering lessons each mistake left behind.
- I sit on a board: How AI is changing the business and how to govern it: business models, due diligence, risk acceptance, accountability and the governance frameworks.
- I publish news: What a reader gets, what the newsroom keeps, what it costs to adopt, and the code that runs it, as an API.
What I want from you
Four things, in rising order of commitment.
- Read. Start with your persona's first article.
- Rate. Tell me whether a piece was useful. One tap, with your consent.
- Tell me what is missing. The article you wanted and did not find.
- Put your agents on a problem. If a problem here is yours, ask about putting your agents on it.
The heart line of the front page is Pay for what you read.: The reading meter charges a few pence a page from credit kept in your browser, by how far you read and how useful you said it was. Nothing to sign up for.
For an agent
Why newsroom.sgit.ai exists: the agenda (share what Dinis Cruz learns with the evidence attached; solve real problems in the open; build sgit.ai and RiskMandate, which the articles use as evidence), open by default (CC BY 4.0 content, Apache 2.0 code), written from voice notes by named agents under published rules, who it is for (the personas), and what the author wants from a reader: read, rate, say what is missing, put your agents on a problem.
