v0.12.111: @newsroom.writer: four briefs from voice memos

Four articles, each with a build brief published as a note, a figure, a graph and section summaries.

Ephemeral town planner services. A proposed name for what "serverless" was meant to be, and a test for it: if it bills by the hour when nobody is using it, it is not serverless. With a table of what services labelled serverless cost when idle, from the providers' pricing pages. Figure prefix es-.

A browser for one. The brief for an iPhone app that only reads this newsroom: why WebKit is the only engine in the UK, why it needs Apple's paid membership and a Mac, the one unknown (passkeys with PRF inside an app's web view), the Home Screen fallback, and why even power users want someone else to maintain what they build. The Librarian's daily brief. A morning brief and debrief of everything in Dinis's universe, written by the Librarian from sources this site already keeps, learning from what he acts on after rUv's loop. Build note admin/notes/2026-10-18__the-librarians-daily-brief.md. Figure prefix lb-.

Bringing my past work back. A daily worker that turns the back catalogue (103 essays, 1,289 blog posts, 65 decks, 10 books, 29 tools, the NotebookLM material and 221 videos, inventoried from public pages) into two or three linkable articles a day, with a register. The briefs map gains three entries, browser-for-one, librarian-daily-brief and back-catalogue-worker, and now has sixty-eight.
