A new article written here, from a voice memo after The human in the loop: why this newsroom ships on its own while email in Dinis's name waits for him, as a spectrum with two axes, how cheap an output is to undo and how mature its controls and record are. Bezos's one-way and two-way doors from the 2015 shareholder letter; the SRE book on rollback; a remembered test from an executive that could not be sourced and is not named; the email workflow as a one-way door in its explorer phase and the newsroom as a two-way door with mature controls; and why both positions move. Two figures. Built twice before, as v0.12.20 and v0.12.21, which another session released at the same time; rebuilt on top of them.
