The owner's ask of 14 October, with a designer agent: the wire page opens as a front page, not a console (card 062). The first screen is a masthead (the strip of wires as the eyebrow, the name, a dateline with the day, the cadence and "beta", one line with the counts, what is new and updated, "ai-generated, unreviewed" as written, and a link to the plumbing) and one band: the edition's hero picture at the left; at the right the editor's note, the deadlines when the vault has them, the threads folded to a line each with their story counts, and the lead's headline linked to its card. Under the band the desk's record folds into one row: this edition, corrections and updates, checked independently, the edition as graphs. The inbox bar is one quiet line with the desk's release note folded on a first visit, and its full self (filters, pending changes, Update the vault) once the reader has state. The vault id, the commit, the fetch counts, the re-check button and what the pictures cost are one line at the foot. ?share on the address reduces the page to the masthead and the band for a 1200 by 630 screenshot. Every vault value is still a text node; the AI-image chip, the model and the cost stay under every picture. The designer's spec and the screenshots are in admin/notes/wires-ux/; every wire is checked in test_wire.mjs.
